Worry-Flavored Bubble Gums by Charmaine Chammag

I received and accepted Christ in my life two years back and a lot of changes happened. From being shy about my faith to being bold about it; from being a control freak to being self-controlled; from asserting my rights to giving what I have. Those two years were pruning times where I grew in the wisdom of God and was smothered thick with His love! Now, His love is overflowing in me. :)

I press on in this joyful journey and I share with you His love, grace, and truth. I am in a race and it is not yet finished. And as I run, I will stand witness to God's faith, hope, and love. :) With this, I hope you get inspired to get to know more about God, to dwell in His word, and know that He loves you so. :)

God's Faithfulness

God's Faithfulness

17 January 2010 Sunday

We love because He first loved us. – 1 John 4:19

I love my God! He is ever so faithful. J I look back at my written prayers. Some, I have forgotten thru time, but God never forgets! J

I fasted. I prayed. Now I know that I need Him. All by myself, I am helpless. But He is indeed a BIG, BIG, BIG, GOD!! My concerns and issues in life are nothing compared to His majesty and sovereignty. J

I had this burden to share Christ's overflowing love in my life, since the time I received Him as my personal Lord and Savior. I had this burden to share Him to my dear college friends. I prayed, I prayed, and I prayed. He answered! J I now lead a D-group with two members who are both my college classmates and dear friends. JJJ

I am awed! I am left speechless for what He is doing in and thru the lives of my friends. J I am as well humbled for how He uses me to reach out to them. Change and transformation in their lives, that is because of Christ alone. J And I claim… I claim more victory for Him! J Whether He will use me as an instrument of His love for my other friends or not, may His will be done in my life. J But I will continuously pray for my other dear love ones, – family, relatives, and friends – that they too will get to know Jesus. I will continuously pray that their hearts be changed, that they would have less appetite for the world, and would hunger more for the presence of God in their life. I continuously pray for the day that by faith, they will accept and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. J I pray this in Jesus' name, and also by faith. J For I already claim His promise and victory in the life of my family and friends today. J

He is ever so faithful. J It starts with us surrendering. J Acknowledging that He is the God of our life. Truly, He knows what's best for us and He has so much in store for us – best plans and promises, a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). He died for us, so He may lavish all that He could give for us. What a loving God! JJJ

I praise my God. J I thank Him. J I love Him. J
